The Holden HB Torana (1967–1969) is a unique and often misunderstood chapter in Australian motoring history. As Holden’s first compact car, the HB Torana combined European engineering roots with local assembly, using Vauxhall-sourced mechanicals and distinctive body styling. Because of this, restoring an HB Torana is very different from later LC–LX models — and parts selection is critical.
