LX Torana

LC LJ LH LX and UC Torana Repair Manual

The Holden LX Torana (1976–1978) represents the second to last evolution of the Torana nameplate and is widely regarded as the most refined factory Torana ever built. With improved braking, revised suspension geometry, and the continuation of legendary V8 performance, the LX is a favourite among restorers — particularly in SS, SS A9X, and V8 sedan and hatchback form.

However, restoring an LX Torana correctly requires understanding LX-only parts, ADR changes, and subtle differences from the earlier LH.
