The TE Gemini was introduced in October 1979. It was in production for about two and a half years in which time over 70 000 TE Gemini’s were produced. The TE was the best selling Gemini, cosmetically it was changed to somewhat resemble the VB Commodore, at least from the front anyway. The 2 door coupe was dropped from the range and the 2 door wagon and panel van were added, engine options remained the same.
