The EH was the first Holden to use the ‘red 6’. Even though it is a solid and reliable engine, any issues you will probably find here. They were very popular project cars back in the day so be wary of any previous restoration/ modification job. Have it thoroughly checked

The EH was the first Holden to use the red engine. If you are going to find any issue with the red engine it will likely be in an EH, if its running its original engine that is.
Be wary of any modifications, they were popular restoration projects as parts have always been very cheap to obtain. Sometimes the modifcations can be worse than worn out original parts
